Spark Editor is a general purpose Malayalam Word Processing Software equipped with a built-in keypad and adjustable keyboard layout. By virtue of its independent functioning, this software will suffice the needs of the ordinary users for their Malayalam word processing requirements.

• The keyboard is designed in the standard Malayalam format based on the recommendations of the Committee on Malayalam Character Encoding and Keyboard Layout Standardisation, constituted by the Govt. of Kerala.
• Option available to change to Malayalam Typewriter Keyboard Layout.

Spark Editor Ex

Spark Editor Ex is a Malayalam/English Word Processor incorporating all the above functions plus a special E-mail facility, mainly intended for the e-mail users, giving the option to send the messages in Malayalam. It will be of great benefit to the people who are living away from their dear ones, enabling instant communication over the net in their own mother tongue.

Special Features:

• Typed matter can be e-mailed directly either as RTF file or as a highly compressed picture file.
• When the mail is transmitted in picture format, the receiving person can read it without the need to install the Malayalam font in his computer.
• The special file compression technique applied in this software can bring down the size of the e-mail file (in JPEG format) to the size of a normal text document facilitating quick transmission over the net.
• While using the e-mail facility, the default E-mail Program is automatically activated.
• For Web Mail (Yahoo, Hotmail, Rediffmail etc.), the user can go to the 'Export' option of the software under File menu to convert the typed matter to a JPEG file and send it as attachment to the mail.

Spark Plus

This software is recommended for users who are required to do large volumes of work in MS Office Applications and DTP Packages.

Special Features:

• Enables direct Malayalam typing in Windows Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, PageMaker, CorelDraw, Photoshop etc.)
• Malayalam font Arati is supplied along with this software. In addition, the software supports all true type Malayalam fonts of GIST / ISM.
• Key settings can be altered according to the specific needs of the users.
• After starting the program, a floating button (Spark Icon) appears on the screen and another button in the system tray at the bottom of the screen. To access the various options available, the user can right-click either the floating button or the system tray icon.
• User can select a convenient toggle key by right clicking the Spark Icon in the tray or the floating button.
• Option available to change to Malayalam Typewriter Keyboard Layout.
